Free Tutoring
At the Central Rappahannock Regional Library Porter Branch, we empower our community through various free tutoring services. With a strong emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity, our programs cater to individuals seeking support with any academic pursuit. We understand the importance of personalized assistance, whether it’s guidance with homework assignments, specified study sessions, or targeted skill development. Our team is readily available to ensure that every individual receives the support necessary to thrive academically. Come to the library on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:30 -4:30!
Workshops
We offer various scheduled workshops to improve children’s skills in writing, math, science, and various crafts. Our workshops are carefully designed to provide an engaging and enriching learning experience for children of all ages. Backpack Drive
We’re collecting backpacks and stationary supplies all year long! At the beginning of each school year, we donate all of the supplies to families who can’t afford them. Have any extra supplies? Bring them with you to the next tutoring session. Help us create a difference, one backpack at a time!
